IMPORTANT!

The two Outer Transport Belts should be adjusted so they ride over the bottom lip of the Media Side

Guides and are positioned very close the Media Side Guides, but not rubbing against them, as shown in

Figure 17.

4. Position the Media Hold-Down Strap [2] so that it helps hold the media down, as shown in Figure 18.

5. If needed; turn on the vacuum assist fans.

The center belt has a vacuum assist feature that can be turned on with the Vacuum Switch located above the

motor circuit breaker, as shown in Figure 19. The vacuum assist is useful when feeding smaller and lighter

materials.
